30.10.15

Danish digital press manufacturer Trojanlabel sold more than 30 TrojanTwo digital presses at Labelexpo Europe 2015 in Brussels, and expects to have doubled the total number of units sold by the end of 2016.

The TrojanTwo mini digital label press has a print speed of 18m/min and can achieve a resolution of up to 1600 x 1600 DPI on an assortment of media. Trojanlabel said TrojanTwo features sophisticated algorithms and in-line printhead maintenance, enabling long runs and consistent high print quality, with the user interface described as ‘both easy to learn and operate’.

It reported a similar level of interest in the months after the launch of TrojanTwo at Labelexpo Americas 2014. With the high number of units sold at Labelexpo Europe 2015, where four units were running on its stand to demonstrate the capabilities of the mini digital press, Trojanlabel is approaching 100 TrojanTwo units sold and installed since its launch. The company is expecting to have sold more than 200 units by the end of 2016, its network will cover a total of 50 global markets within the next two months.

‘We had four TrojanTwo presses running non-stop (at Labelexpo Europe 2015), proving that you don’t need to break the bank to print high quality digital labels,’ said Trojanlabel CEO Mikkel Wichmann. ‘And it’s not just for small and medium-sized converters – large, established converters showed great interest in adding the TrojanTwo to their existing equipment, which we take away as a compliment to the quality and usability on offer. And what’s even better is the fact that our customers are very happy, and out of nearly 100 TrojanTwo’s shipped out, we have had very favorable feedback. That is pleasing to say the least.’
